Mindfulness is not a CURE-ALL

Mindfulness is a HELP-ALL! Research studies suggest that a daily practice of Mindfulness Meditation can help reduce anxiety, stress, depression and pain and, as a result, it can substantially improve one’s quality of life.

More and more therapists are recommending Mindfulness Meditation as a tool to help eliminate negative behavioral and thought patterns that prevent us from experiencing a more fulfilling and enjoyable lifestyle. Such a practice also benefits us by creating more harmonious and balanced relationships with others and with ourselves.

The more we understand the neuro-scientific and emotional concepts behind Mindfulness, the easier it is for us establish a daily and disciplined routine to fit it into our daily life. And then, as the process of this new habit unfolds, we begin to notice the subtle changes that a mindfulness practice brings to our total well-being.

Online and phone apps are beneficial, but they are not a replacement in fully understanding the theory and technique with the help of trained practitioner (and, in the process, learn about all the misconceptions and myths that surround the practice) can take meditation, and especially Mindfulness Meditation, to a whole new level of understanding, change and growth in your life.

And that is the purpose of “The Meditation Tree” ONLINE ninety-minute weekly beginner classes over a period of six weeks. With just the first class, you will be able to understand and then decide if you could benefit from a Mindfulness Meditation practice. All classes are by donation.
